Dylusions Journal Play #10 - Jane Davenport Girl

Being inspired as an artist is one of the best feelings one can ever experience.  Its like total euphoria and just indescribable to people who haven't found their passion in life yet.

When I got this book from Jane Davenport about drawing faces (see review here: https://youtu.be/aXof1B9pFb8  )
I felt so inspired to create because of all the energy and amazing vibes she gives off.  So off I went to try my luck at drawing once more and I can not believe how much I have improved.

I felt really free when I started playing in my journal and I hope this inspires you to want to try it out for yourself. And if your attempt sucks the first time, good.  You cant be great at it immediate. But keep trying and I'll be here to cheer you on all the way.

Thanks for sharing my journey with me!

Jane Davenport - Drawing and Painting Beautiful faces Book Review

Hi Peepes,

So i have done a quick peek inside the LOVELY Jane Davenport's book on drawing and painting beautiful faces. Check it out here:

Please find the link to this wonderful book on Amazon here:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1592539866/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I hope it has been helpful to you in making a decision whether this book is for you ( I won't say "or not" because it has to be for you, its for everyone!).  Please note that I am in no way affiliated with or sponsored/rewarded in any way to give a positive review.  My findings and opinions are purely my own. And I LOVE IT! Truly, how can I not!?

I have actually dremt about being able to paint as beautifully as Jane last night!  In my dream I also met Jane and we were in Bali sipping pina coladas and painting on the beach, so …. CLEARLY a dream, but I do believe this book will take you on a journey to drawing better, and more alive characters. I can already see a big positive change in my own art, from just what I have read and practiced already.  Revolutionary and mind altering!  For me at least!
Big thank you to Jane for creating such a lovely teaching book filled with beauty and love!

Dylusions Journal Play # 9

Blocked.  I have felt uninspired and totally blocked the last 2 weeks.  Procrastinating for all I'm worth, making meaningless things like mixed media books and pretending to be all about it.  Honestly, I don't know why we get like this, probably because its just been a rough couple of weeks, had a sick daughter and recovering from jet lag among other things didn't help much either. So I just sat myself down and told myself that I had to start somewhere.  Well, was I pleasantly surprised!!!

Here is the process video of me playing, I hope you have fun watching it and get inspired to make something great yourself:
